Spawned from the drunken ramblings of friends, Heathens.club provides shell accounts, gemini and web hosting, a url shortener, and a mumble server. As well as a few homespun local communications tools such as a shell-based builitin board, and an async single threaded chat. It has a predisposition to using tools written by it's members over publicly available utilities to encourage learning and experimentation.
Heathens.club is a small-ish online community with shared access to a computer for collaboration and communication. we value personal interaction and exchange of ideas over simply co-existing in the same /etc/passwd.

It also has a gemini based knowledgebase that all members are able to edit freely, a community gemini aggregator, and a calendar of nature based events to celebrate.
Access to the computer is optional and not at all required to participate in our IRC channel or our monthly new-moon voice hangouts on mumble.
