south london is a neat little pubnix that lives in my home and occasionally whipsers to me in my sleep. Use it to start a blog, make a terrible game, talk to other people, create some art, divorce your wife, try out weird new internet protocols like Gemini or just request an account and then never log in.

History

southlondon was created around march 2021 on a whim after i got sick of the annoyingly large ping to Tilde.team from my house. i found out that Dimension.sh existed about two months after i started south london.

In August the server came down for some maintenance, that ended up taking much longer than it should have. It returned a couple of weeks later, now running Fedora and with a much nicer website, a barely working email server and some extra fun bits. The old wiki was removed and is soon to be replaced by the south london library. Also, the south london minecraft server was launched, for some reason.

at some point in october i moved the south london vm to my home server, in an effort to reduce hosting costs. we also moved to mediawiki for the south london library which so far has been much less awful. also, the email server now works without many problems.
